Description
AMHC is searching for a Full Time Maintenance Specialist in the Calais Outpatient. The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Specialist are to maintain the physical plant of agency sites throughout our service area. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Maintain the Integrity of AMHC properties by performing inspections for safety, cleanliness, and regular maintenance issues.
- Respectfully Collaborate with external contractors when needed to coordinate maintenance activities, complex repairs, and specialized projects
- Demonstrate AMHC's focus on Excellence by maintaining a scheduled Presque Isle facility cleaning regimen.
- Provide a Compassionate and welcoming environment to all individuals and maintain a Service-focused atmosphere.
Schedule:
- This is a 40-hour-per-week non-exempt position
Requirements
- Experience with general maintenance, cleaning, and repair of common building structures, appliances, and other equipment is a must
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- be able to lift 50 pounds
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills
